Stopwords

Stopwords (불용어) 란

불용 목록(부정 사전)에 있는 단어로, 자연어 데이터(텍스트) 처리 전후에 중요하지 않기 때문에 필터링(즉, 정지)

ex: "to", "and", "a", "of"

stopwords 를 제거하는 이유는 복잡성을 크게 줄이기 위함

텍스트에 큰 의미를 부여하지 않기 때문에, 이를 제거하면 더 작고 깔끔한 데이터셋을 얻을 수 있음

더 작고 깔끔한 데이터셋은 머신러닝의 정확도를 높이고 처리 시간을 단축시키는데 도움이 됨
